Healthcare-NOW Calendar for 2008

This is the year to win a guaranteed national single payer system--controlled by patients and doctors, not insurance companies. We shouldn't wait for a president to lead the way. The new president will not eliminate the insurance companies unless we tell him/her what we want. Prioritize electing a progressive Congress and urge them to help us push our agenda!

R. 676). We are setting up in front of local supermarkets or other high-traffic areas. July 26th is the second of two days of community organizing (July 12th was the other) to build support for our July 30th celebration of the birthday of Medicare (details to follow).

If you would like to organize an outreach site in your neighborhood please contact us or if you would like to meet-up with a local CAP organizer please contact them directly. We will spend a day with our friends, family and neighbors talking about the need to make healthcare a basic human right.
